1. Upon the mountain when my God spoke,
out of His mouth came fire and smoke.
All around me looks so fine,
asked my Lord if all was mine.

2. The Jordan river runs right cold,
it chills the body, not the soul.
Ain’t but one train on this track,

3. Oh, I have sorrows and I have woe
And I have heartache here below
But while God leads me I’ll never fear
For I am sheltered by His care.
runs to heaven and right back.

4.  Down in the valley, when I feel weak
It's when the devil, usually speaks
Because he's crafty, and full of lies
I need the Spirit to keep me wise.
