“The Steadfast Love of the Lord” is a simple yet deeply scriptural chorus by Edith McNeill, built almost entirely on the words of Lamentations 3:22–23. The hymn proclaims that the Lord’s mercies never cease and that His compassions are new every morning, emphasizing the unchanging faithfulness of God.
