A New Hymnal for Colleges and Schools

This is a nondenominational, ecumenical hymnal designed especially for worship services in academic communities such as colleges and schools. It contains over 400 hymns and about 100 psalms, drawing on a wide variety of global traditions. Many hymns are presented in original languages with English translations, and the hymnal uses inclusive language throughout where possible. The collection includes both historic hymn texts and newer compositions commissioned for this volume. Published by Yale University Press, New Haven and London in 1992
