Jesse McPhaill is an American missionary and co‑founder of the mission ministries Baptists for Africa, serving primarily in Uganda and East Africa. He was born in 1996, together with his identical twin brother John McPhaill. The brothers were saved through Christian faith while teenagers, being led to faith in Christ and baptized in a non‑denominational Bible church in Mohave Valley, Arizona.

Education and Early Life:
Jesse and his brother grew up in the United States and later attended university, initially majoring in pre‑medical studies with intentions of becoming physicians. During this period they also began attending an independent Baptist church, where they developed a sustained interest in evangelism and gospel preaching. Within a few years they felt a vocational call to full‑time Christian ministry, setting aside their original vocational plans and pursuing extensive self‑directed study and preparation for missionary work.
